These blogs are intended to NOT be summaries of what we do in class. Instead, we are asking you to talk about what you are learning (20%), and then use the prompts for "My Ideas" to guide your reflection on what you think about the material, how it makes you feel, and what else it leads you to (80%).
Your blogs must be in blog format. This must be done on a laptop/desktop and at the beginning of the process.
The blog must include full, eighth grade quality sentences. Make sure to check for spelling and grammar. As you see from the rubric placed at the bottom of the example we are looking for the following qualities:

The blog must include full, eighth grade quality sentences. Make sure to check for spelling and grammar. As you see from the rubric placed at the bottom of the example we are looking for the following qualities:
- THREE My Idea prompts were clearly and thorough completed.
- A personal connection was made to the content
- Obvious effort was made to include historical facts/evidence to support your opinion
- A citation of ALL resources was included to support your evidence and opinion
- There was a CLEAR attempt to make a special addition to your blog post. Pasting pictures and including video is nice, but isn't special. You have been given plenty of opportunities to go Above and Beyond this year. Now it is a requirement for you to put in the extra effort. This is the most difficult points to earn; however, with help from the Above and Beyond work from the first and second semester I can imagine you can get creative.
